Host Machine/Application Setup

- Contact the admin team, rent gear, ensure lab space is empty, etc. - Understand what main motive 3.01 looks like, including important components etc (ie cameras, asset window). -

Calibration

- first click view/layout –> calibration - Ensure cameras are pointing to the center. Check this by changing the view to grayscale. - Start with masking objects to ensure no reflectivity; mask objects as needed. - Begin wanding. Link to an OptiTrack video/gif for demonstration. - Ensure wanding quality is good - exceptional if possible (minimal is just good). - Conduct ground plane calibration, ensuring correct xyz for the calibration triangle (also mention cameras detect your wand/calibration plane stick). - Completion of calibration steps.

Player Tracking - 2 'Man' Operation

- first click view/layout –> Create/Track

  1. Builder –> Create–> Skeleton
    1. Choose the correct type of thing you want to track, i.e., player, rigid body, etc.
    2. If tracking a player, then choose the correct type, i.e., core, industry, tpose, name etc.
    3. Explain purple dots vs white dots (flesh vs bone locations).
    4. Ensure markers on screen match with markers required, you can always use the markers in perspective view, highlight them etc.
    5. ensure good t-poses, exact amount of markers or tracking will be bad
    6. Click Create and let OptiTrack do its magic…
Tracking a rigidbody

- Builder –> Create–>Rigid body - create / use a rigid body object

- provide example - How to export data to unity as fbx
